11-year-old Jack hasn’t let his immunodeficiency condition stop him – he’s a daring kid, who loves to dirt bike, ride jet boats, and adores planes.

Jack has always been passionate about aviation – particularly vintage and military planes, so his wish was to travel to the South Island and see Warbirds Over Wanaka.

Jack had an amazing time on his wish! He and his whānau were welcomed into the VIP area at Warbirds Over Wanaka, where they were treated to a magnificent view of the airshow. Jack even got to meet some of the Royal New Zealand Air Force crew and sit in a helicopter!

But the absolute icing on the cake was after the show, Jack was taken on a special flight over Wanaka by the No.3 Squadron!
