15-year-old Emily is a warm and friendly girl who is bravely enduring a metabolic condition. Emily loves all things Shortland Street, so her dream wish was to go to the Shortland Street set and meet the stars

Earlier this year, Emily’s wish came true!

Emily and her mum flew up to Auckland and were treated to a VIP experience on the Shortland Street set! She got to see all of the Ferndale hotspots, met some of her favourite stars of the show, and left stacked with special Shorty merch! The smile on Emily’s face says it all!

Emily’s mum Rachel says Emily was thrilled. “It was just so awesome to see the smile on her face and the happiness in her voice that made me so happy to see her like this. She is just so happy about her wish she talks about it and have got photos from our trip too,”
